On behalf of our client, well-established company we are looking for an IT System & Network Admin (Team Leader) to join their team in Drama.

A Day in the Life of an IT System & Network Admin

In this role, you will combine technical problem-solving with hands-on management of the IT infrastructure, while offering user support across the organization. You'll ensure the seamless operation of the company’s IT systems through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing timely technical assistance.

Your day-to-day

  • Investigating and diagnosing network problems
  • Configuration and installation of IT solutions
  • Strong background in LAN/WAN activities, resolve connectivity issues, and vendor escalation
  • Assisting co-workers with everyday IT needs
  • Patch management and new system installations for Windows based servers and desktops
  • Setting up new users and management of security, passwords and backup
  • Monitoring of the Internet and email usage of company employees.
  • Ensures the continuing operation and optimization of the servers, backup devices, operating systems, email, printing, windows update, virus protection, etc
  • Provides servers’ management including maintenance, administration and configuration of all server applications
  • Support various network products, technologies, and their associated components including routers, switches, firewalls
  • Repair and recover hardware and software failures
  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
  • Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes
  • Monitor network performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future

What you will need

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field
  • At least 7 years’ experience as a Network/Systems Administrator preferably in the industrial sector
  • Candidates with experience in SAP environment would be prioritized
  • Excellent Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
  • Excellent of security technologies (Endpoint protection, Checkpoint firewall)
  • Solid experience with virtualization solutions such as VMWare VSphere / Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Proven Experience with Cloud concepts. Preferably Azure
  • Proficient in English
