Senior SAP ABAP Developer
SAP DeveloperOn behalf of our client, a Global SAP Partner with more than 20,000 SAP professionals worldwide, we’re on the lookout for a motivated Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join their dynamic and experienced Enterprise Technology and Performance team.
As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer, you will take responsibility for executing assigned projects with accountability and a proactive mindset. You will align tasks with client priorities, ensure the highest quality of work, and embody our purpose to “make an impact that matters.”
Your day-to-day
- Design and implement advanced SAP solutions in areas such as Financials, Supply Chain, Logistics, Enterprise Performance Management, and Industry Solutions.
- Leverage SAP methodologies/tools, and accelerators to deliver effective solutions.
- Stay informed about SAP innovations, updates, and enhancements, and apply them to resolve client challenges as needed.
- Pursue and maintain certifications in SAP specializations.
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand and translate business processes and requirements into technology solutions.
- Apply foundational technology knowledge to client-specific situations.
- Work collaboratively to produce high-quality deliverables that enhance the client experience.
What you will need
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
- Over 4 years of experience in ABAP programming (e.g. ABAP OO, Workflows, Classical/ALV/Interactive Reports, Web Services (REST/SOAP), interface development using ALE/IDocs, Flat Files, RFCs, BAPIs, and enhancements (e.g., BADIs, User Exits, BTEs)).
- Leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of developers in a project environment.
- Expertise in systems implementation strategy, requirement gathering, workshop facilitation, prototyping, testing, training, support procedure development, and practical business solution delivery under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to implement technology-driven business solutions as part of a high-performance team.
- Strong collaboration skills to guide clients, provide functionality insights, share knowledge, and train end-users.
- Proficiency in English and Greek (spoken and written).
- A team-oriented attitude with adaptability and resilience under pressure.
