On behalf of our client, a global leader in third-party services provider, specializing in the sector of Technical Audits, Inspections, and Certifications, we are currently looking for a self-driven IT Support Help Desk , to join its IT department at company’s HQs in Athens.

Your day-to-day

  • Information and operating instructions for the handling of devices and software by telephone, email and remote. 
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting measures 
  • Logging of the results of the analysis as well as all information found for troubleshooting in the respective trouble ticket. 
  • Analysis, qualification and prioritization of the incident 
  • Fixing problems in the area of the operating system or system software installed on the client 
  • Correction of standard problems of standard applications (e.g. Adobe, MS Office products, ...) 
  • Immediate initiation of the escalation process in the event of incidents that cannot be resolved in 1st level support. This means that the trouble ticket is forwarded immediately to the respective downstream service unit
  • Information for the user about the further procedure and - if possible - a time estimate of the problem solution 
  • If errors occur that require communication with the manufacturer of hardware or software
  • Tracking the trouble ticket and monitoring the solution time, if necessary, escalation (ticket owner) 
  • Closing ticket 

What you will need

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Completed technical education preferably in the IT sector
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in supporting end users
  • Settled and reliable personality enjoying contact to clients
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team
