On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a self-driven CyberSecurity Expert, to join its software development team.

 

Your day-to-day

  • Analyze and mitigate security risks in system designs
  • Conduct security assessments for ongoing company projects
  • Evaluate and ensure security compliance of external suppliers
  • Collaborate with project managers and business owners to implement security best practices
  • Assess and monitor IT system security controls
  • Develop and maintain security documentation and design standards
  • Ensure adherence to security governance, security by design, and security by default principles
  • Install, configure, and maintain security software (firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with security regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
  • Provide expert guidance on security configurations, network security protocols, and encryption
  • Lead initiatives in intrusion detection and incident management
  • Conduct business impact analysis and cybersecurity risk mapping
  • Protect digital assets with a focus on data protection and GDPR compliance
  • Build awareness and provide training on information security for company employees
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to security breaches, vulnerabilities, and threats
  • Perform root cause analysis for security incidents
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Implement risk assessment programs to identify and mitigate cybersecurity threats
  • Organize and lead cybersecurity committees
  • Work closely with IT and network engineering teams to align security protocols
  • Train employees on cybersecurity awareness and best practices
  • Manage and monitor network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
  • Ensure network availability, performance, and reliability through proactive measures
  • Configure and maintain network devices to optimize security and traffic flow
  • Implement and oversee network segmentation, VLANs, and secure remote access
  • Troubleshoot network-related issues and coordinate with third-party vendors when needed
  • Provide backup support for the Network Administrator as necessary

Requirements 

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity and network management
  • Hands-on experience with network security tools and technologies (e.g.,firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SIEM, Packet Analysis etc.)
  • Proven experience in managing and securing network infrastructures(routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, DNS, etc.)
  • You are familiar with security standards and frameworks (e.g. NIST or ISO 27001)
  • Familiarity with the OWASP Testing Guide v3/v4 and OWASP Top 10
  • Familiar with project management methodologies;
  • Familiar with Legal & Regulation (GDPR)
  • You know the standards for penetration testing of web applications and methods of securing services
  • Programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and C++
