On behalf of our client, a leader and innovator in the fast-growing Data Analytics Industry, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic and results oriented Credit Risk Analyst, to join its team.

A day in the life of a ‘Credit Risk Analyst’ 

You will be part of a team of highly skilled professionals participating in challenging projects for major financial institutions. Working in this advanced analytics environment, you will be given the opportunity to take responsibility and build valued relationships internally and externally.

Your day-to-day

  • Analyze scenarios affecting the risk exposure of assigned portfolios to identify emerging credit risk trends including loan-level probability of default and loss given default
  • Business Analysis performance, translating business requirements into data management and analysis processes’ specs
  • Development and deployment of analytical processes, calculations and models (IFRS9, IBasel framework, Stress Tests or/and ICAAP)
  • Data mining, data management, assessing data quality, building appropriate data environments

What you will need

  • BCs degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science or other relevant quantitative field (MSc degree will be considered as a huge plus)

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the Financial Services’ Credit Risk domain
  • Experience in model development, validation and implementation for credit risk quantification (IFRS9, Stress Testing, ECL, ICAAP)
  • Business Analysis performance, translating business requirements into data management and analysis processes’ specs
  • Problem solving, collaborative and proactive attitude
  • Curiosity to grow via experimenting with new technologies and methodologies
  • Strong structural, communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with data mining, data management, assessing data quality, building appropriate data environments
  • Knowledge of analytical tools and programming/scripting languages, such as SQL, SPSS Modeler (ex. Clementine), and Python (will be considered a strong asset)
  • Excellent knowledge of English
