On behalf of our client, a fast-growing UK based Software Company, we’re looking for a sharp, tech-savvy Business Analyst.
A day in the life of Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst you will be a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for one of our largest clients, create clear documentation, and translate business needs into technical specifications for our software development team.
Your day-to-day
- Be the SPOC for our clients, including managing communications, gathering new requirements, and understanding evolving business needs.
- Turn business discussions into clear, developer-ready specifications and documentation.
- Ensure development progress aligns with client expectations and project goals.
- Perform technical analysis of systems: APIs, checklists, tracking workflows, role management.
- Prepare and maintain UATs, run tests, and perform quality assurance.
- Understand system roles, user flows, and help estimate effort and priorities.
- Write detailed technical documentation: functional specs, user stories, and use cases
What you will need
- Strong experience with complex software platforms, ideally multi-user/multi-role environments.
- Excellent communication skills – able to handle business-side discussions with confidence.
- Proven ability to bridge the gap between client needs and developer execution.
- Solid background in technical writing and documentation (BRDs, UATs, specs).
- Familiarity with tracking systems, checklists, and API-based applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Comfortable with 70% business-side tasks and 30% technical responsibilities.
- Great plus if you have previous work experience with enterprise-level clients or large-scale platforms and/or experience with clients in aviation, logistics, or oil & gas.
