BI Developer

On behalf of our client, an innovative global leader in onshore and indoor aquaculture, we are currently looking for a creative and passionate BI Developer to join its team.

Your day-to-day

• Conceptualize, analyze and implement data analysis solutions. You will be responsible for the full cycle, from analysis of business needs to the design of the solution, implementation of the data extraction and transformation queries and finally development of the SSIS/SSAS/DAX/Power BI solution.
• Design and develop powerful and interactive visualizations to support decision making.
• Collaborate with business experts and users in order to validate the developed solutions, receive feedback and get an in-depth understanding of the needs of the industry.
• Propose new features or even whole new solutions/products
• Analyze customer requirements and assist in preparation of proposals
• Create and maintain documentation on the developed BI solutions
• Continuously research and stay up-to-date on the latest ΒΙ developments

What you will need

• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar.
• 2 years of experience with SSIS/SSAS (Tabular and Multi-dimensional), DAX; knowledge in PowerBI will be considered as an asset
• Strong knowledge in Relational and Dimensional database structures
• Excellent SQL knowledge
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude. Ability to collect client requirements, understand them and turn them into a powerful BI solution including cubes and attractive Power BI visualizations
