On behalf of our client, a leader and innovator in the fast-growing Data Analytics Industry, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic and results oriented BI Analyst, to join its team.

 

A day in the life of a ‘BI Analyst’ 

You will be part of a team of highly skilled professionals participating in challenging projects for major institutions. Working in this advanced analytics environment, you will be given the opportunity to take responsibility and build valued relationships internally and externally.

 

Your day-to-day

  • Design and Develop BI Solutions: Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Qlik Sense, delivering intuitive visualizations tailored to business needs.
  • Collaborate and Gather Requirements: Partner with business users, analysts, project managers, and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Support Full Application Lifecycle: Develop, deploy, and maintain BI solutions and Excel VBA applications throughout their lifecycle, ensuring alignment with evolving business objectives.
  • Analyze and Optimize Processes: Evaluate existing business processes to identify improvement opportunities, leveraging technology-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
  • Document and Communicate: Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specs, design docs, and user manuals to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.

Must have:

  • MS in Computer Science or Information Systems along with work experience in a related field.
  • Strong expertise in data storage and management using SQL Server, including SQL object development, performance tuning, data integration, and analysis.
  • Over 3 years of experience in data preparation, data warehousing, and leveraging the Microsoft BI Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS).
  • Proficient in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Sense, with hands-on experience developing and managing solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, MS Forms/Flow).
  • Solid understanding of coding for Business Intelligence, enabling report generation, automation, and optimized decision-making processes.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills, supported by an MS in Computer Science or Information Systems and relevant industry experience.
