On behalf of our client, a leading real estate research and consultancy firm, we are currently looking for an experienced and driven Senior Research Manager & Data Consultant to join their team and contribute to their real estate research unit.

 

Your day-to-day

Client Consultancy and Data-Driven Insights:

  • Lead and manage research projects, providing expert consultancy to clients in the student housing, co-living, and BTR markets.

  • Use the company’s Data Platform to gather, analyze, and interpret data, translating it into actionable insights for clients.

  • Develop tailored reports and presentations that provide valuable market intelligence and strategic recommendations for clients.

  • Build strong client relationships by acting as a primary point of contact, ensuring that clients’ research needs are met with precision.

  • Participate in client meetings and present findings, building confidence and trust with key stakeholders.

Project Management and Execution:

  • Plan, execute, and manage research projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality, data-driven outputs.

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis and present clear, well-structured reports that align with client objectives.

  • Forecast key metrics for the student housing, co-living, and BTR markets and integrate these insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Manage the resources, timelines, and budgets for individual research projects, ensuring efficiency and adherence to deadlines.

Supervising Junior Colleagues and Supporting Other Team Members:

  • Share knowledge and expertise and help unit managers develop the research skills of junior colleagues through training and continuous guidance.

  • Support research managers in the course of the project execution in terms of methodology, innovative approaches, and research techniques.

  • Ensure the quality of the research and data consultancy services provided by junior colleagues. Review and quality check reports and data provided to clients.

Strategic Development and Contribution:

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Rented Residential Unit’s research strategy, integrating market trends, client feedback, and data insights.

  • Take an active role in identifying opportunities to expand the company’s service offerings and improve internal research methodologies.

  • Develop your professional expertise and contribute to the strategic direction of the unit, with a focus on expanding your managerial skills over time.

Team Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Work closely with a team of analysts and senior consultants on larger, more complex projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

  • Share your expertise and insights with the team, contributing to the continuous improvement of research processes and methodologies.

  • Participate in cross-departmental collaboration, providing research support to marketing, sales, and other teams to help drive business growth.

Industry Engagement and Brand Building:

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars, showcasing expertise in the rented residential sector.

  • Actively participate in market discussions and stay up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and innovations within the real estate industry.

  • Present at a minimum of three rented residential events per year.

What you will need

  • A university degree in business, economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum four years of experience, ideally within real estate market analysis, data analysis, data research, or international client management.

  • Experience in managerial responsibilities is considered beneficial.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Microsoft PowerPoint (Advanced), Microsoft Access (Basic), Adobe InDesign (Basic), and Tableau (Beginner).

  • Advanced English language skills (B2+/C1 level).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, client-focused attitude.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear and engaging manner.
